Fuel filler hose 2 x 1.75"??
Anyone know a good way to adapt a 2" tank connection to a 1.75" bronco connection?? I tried to force the 1.75 over the 2" and it wasn't working. Perhaps I need to disconnect the electrical connections and drop the tank to get this done?
Thanks!

Quick and cheap would be a exhaust pipe adapter, there is usually a good selection at Autozone if you have one by you.

Those are aluminized? Does that hold up ok to fuel? I have an O-Reileys and Carquest

Not sure if they are aluminized, I believe they are just mild steel and are weldable, likely the same material fuel tanks are made of.

Exhaust adapters work fine for fuel fillers. I have also used irrigation pipe adapters before. Murdoch's has some of those on hand

I did end up with an exhaust adapter. Worked pretty good aside from really having to force the 1.75" side on. I even put the hose in hot water to soften it. But it's all back in. Now I am anxious to fill it up enough to see if the factory gauge still works.
