Post Centech harness no power to guages
I'm havinga hard time trying to figure this out, guages used to work but now i have no power to the voltage regulator on the back of the cluster. I have tested all the fuses and found them to be in working order. Possible fusible link perhaps somewhere that has melted? I am in the process of re- re wiring a few things as i didn't have the 4g alternator wired correctly the first time. I have an rjm engine harness and have changed the weather pack connector on the centech so the wires for the temp and coolant sendors , as well as the ignition wires areall inthe same connection. Any thoughts? I should pointout that the yellow charge wire in the centech was used on the 4g for a few test runs when i was trying to get things upand going. It has since been replaced with a thicker wire and mega fuse to the battery andthe yellow wire is being used as power to an arb compressor.

Did this happen as a result of the rewiring in the engine bay?

You can easily provide power to the IVR from the stud terminal of the stock ignition switch. I don't know the centech switch arrangement.

That's agood idea i didn't even think about doing that, and I'm not 100% sure because my voltage regulator went bad and i had no way to test the wire . I just bought a new digital voltage regulator and a multi meter. But at one time the guages did work after i put the centech in

Fixed it... lol turns out it was just because of my meddling in the engine compartment . Thank you
