Post Body Jig or frame mounting dimensions
I need help guys. I had my 1968 body on a rotisserie.(without the front clip installed.) I measured heights of the mounts from Steves scale drawing. After removal of A pillars floor pans and rockers I got the doors lined up and square, body line straight. Then when putting it back on the frame to keep the body line straight and gaps good, the front inner fender wells are about an 1 3/4" high in the front. My fenders are too high! Ive popped my welds on the inner kicks and been trying to align everything up but the good fit ( now with the top on the bed to align everything up, Im still high in front. It seems that the forward bed to body mounts are too high, causing an angle up. Is it common to take some meat out of the body mounts? its a 1" body lift. Frame is straight never crashed rig.

I used from rear to front 0,0,-4",-9/16" on my rotisserie. I tried to level the frame and it seams these may not have been the correct heights to use? Any help would be much appreciated!
