Re: Kingston Snow Bash 1-2-12
It was a good time on the trail, thanks to all who made it. It was nice meeting some new pepole and the sunshine was hard to beat too. Im glad to see some of you took pic's, I took two and they were of all the rigs lined up so no need to post them. Im already ready for the next run so hopefully some more snow will fall.
Happy New Year to everybody and Congrats to Clay and Kirk.

Here is a Youtube video that I made with some of the videos I shot, and some of my photos along with others I stole.

Nice video Clay! Thanks for putting that together!!
Wish you could have made it Corey. And yeah, I'd be game to run Mt. Baldy soon. I'll bet we'll find a fair bit of snow!

Re: Kingston Snow Bash 1-2-12
Shawn - meant to tell you that the strap I used to pull you out was a new-to-me strap. I thought it hit hard because we had it doubled up. But I used it single line later that day and it still hit hard!! Must be rated for way more than my 27k lb strap I normally use. Sorry! Will use my normal one next time for a softer pull!
If anyone is in the market for a strap - look hard at Bubba Rope. I have heard nothing but good stuff about that. Otherwise, drop into a farm supply store and pickup one of their's. Good stuff and you won't be paying for a name.
J.D.

Re: Kingston Snow Bash 1-2-12
I am hell bent on keeping stock bumpers but I don't want to get all bent to hell doing it.................so I bought a pair of these off ebay (but I only paid 30 bucks) http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2010-FORD- ... 43a4295291Out back I am gonna put a cross member / receiver in between the frame rails with the receiver coming through a hole in the stock bumper
