Re: Mt. Baldy Snow bash/Feb BWB
Was there anyone else who had tried breaking trail before you guys? How far did they get. That is always one of those trails that people start up and realize that they can't go far without the right stuff.

Re: Mt. Baldy Snow bash/Feb BWB
Right about here is where the last folks had broken trail to: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=38 ... o&t=w&z=18Someone was up past where we stopped, but it was before the storms. There was ice under 2ft of snow at the end and it was consistent with vehicle width. Yeah, ask that guy in the stock GMC yukon about having the right rig. He nearly tore off the front bumper crossing the creek. He did make it, but he was a few sammiches short of a picnic for crossing it in the first place. So many people get stuck in that creek crossing. Rescued an FJ last year.

Here is one of the Jeep (Ty?) breaking some trail until he lost a brake line, but quickly fixed it and kept on going!
I have two more but they are still uploading...
a bit of the video is a cloudy cause Rob threw my gopro into the snow...

Sorry again about dropping that. Atleast you didn't run it over like I did mine awhile ago.

I like the way that Ty just kept slowly churning forward. Those were some mean azz tire chains.

Re: Mt. Baldy Snow bash/Feb BWB
A couple more videos.
This one is from the group shot to somewhere down the road before the camera battery gave up. I used the stability filter on youtube, not sure if it made it better or worse...

In the blue bronco is Ron and his wife Mary. aka the Sandblaster. I got the bumpers from Wild Horses and they are called Rock Blocker Rear Bumper With tire rack. Front bumper is also a Rock blocker. We had a blast with you guys. Hope to do it again soon.
