I also found this calendar. I think its for a campground, not an inclusive calendar, but something to look at. Late August and September looks a lot better, traffic wise. But that only make sense. Forget school schedules the kids will take more from a weekend like this than sitting in a classroom with Mrs. Crabtree*.

*I'm not a parent, so my opinion is of questionable value.

I am pretty open to timing. My kids start school a little later, August 20th. I'm good taking them or leaving them. I have pulled them out of school for less as well. My youngest daughter is getting to skip school to go with me for Bronco Safari this year. I also see great value with hanging with the grandparents for a week, giving the wife and I some alone time.

With that said my schedule is pretty flexable weekend or week day.

For me it would be great to finally meet some of you and wheel an epic trail.

Just wanted to check in and see if there is any updates on running the Rubicon this year. Considering the number of events that have been pushed to fall or cancelled was wondering if this is even feasible for everyone that was interested. Anyway times are so just trying to plan and get back on the trail in the future.

I'll be here, so anyone who makes it out I'm in. Moving into the shop, got my C.O. on Friday, so I can start working on the Bronco soon.

I am sort of on the fence-- as I have had some vacations pushed back so they would start to stack up on each other. But, my work is pretty good at allowing me to take time off so would probably be in for a good time.

The one thing to consider is whether any other "organized" events will change dates and interfere with our ability to get on the trails?

I am still in on it. Im still working like so no worries from me there. I just need to find time to get working on the bronco.

Just an update - I am still on the fence. I have talked to a few folks out in CA/NV and the Rubicon has been pretty busy the last few months and I don't see that easing up anytime soon due to the circumstances.

Well, the company I work for just completed a major acquisition and we are now going through merger actions. It seems I will be taking on a higher level role which will limit my personal life over next few months.

I am still locked in for SuperCel but Rubicon is now a maybe for me this year.

I have noticed a lot of people have been running the Rubicon this year too. For me I think its probably late in the game to get this going this year. I would say at this point I am out for this year, I have all my effort tied up in getting ready for Super Celebration.

Sounds like we need to cancel and reschedule. I probably can't swing 2 trips that close together.

After the time it's taken to move into my shop, and other demands on my time, I'm doubting I'll have my rig ready. So 2021 is sounding better for me too.

Such a bummer! Not that I was going, but it's such an epic trip that it hurts a little to see it put on the back burner.

Just ran into a guy here who goes out there yearly. Just not this year. Says it's 1400 miles. It was 1100 from IL. 300 extra miles is no sweat!

The time off is the killer. I don't have the family support to help shuffle kids around. But with some careful planning, maybe I could get my mom here and see if my dad could convoy with y'all...

I am officially out this year. Too many things stacked and competing for attention and too close to Vegas to Reno then personal stuff that has come up.

Bummer! I was really looking forward to the trip.

I'd still be in for next year!
