Re: Bronco 50 year Super Celebration April 12 - 16, 2016 Here's a few pictures crossing rural CO and KS. Of course the ball of twine, which I had no idea was on this route. Prairie grass fires from last week. My wife was driving through as this was happening and said it was very smokey. Made it to my in-laws around dinner time. Despite my best guess, going up two jet sizes wasn't enough and I was getting a little pinging on long hills around 1500 ft. So my FIL and I pulled the carb apart and did a jet swap, then put the truck away for the night. Wrenching works up an appetite, so a snack was in order.

Ill be a day later. Lost the rear pinion seal south of KC. Looks like the "new" pinion yoke was responible. Axle is torn apart and appears undamaged, so fixing the problem and will set out again tomorrow morning.
Really bummed to be losing a day, but Im glad it wasnt the transmission.

1972 Sport, 302, 3 speed with old school Duff floor shifter, T shift Dana 20 with JB Fab twin stick, 4.11 gears with Trac-loc, Lincoln hydroboost, Chevy disc conversion, WH gas lift gate shock kit, 33" Duratrac tires on slots and about 2.5" of lift, Stroppe installed: bumper braces, dual shocks on all four corners, GM power steering, trans cooler mount, auto shift column, rollbar.
The Terrible One
1972 Sport uncut, 302, C4 with 1974 column , T shift Dana 20, 3.50 gears w/ limited slip, 1966 U13 Roadster kick panel, and factory power steering.
