Engineer Pass, Cinnamon Pass 8/23
Since Chris had to work and couldn't come down and do Williams, Hancock & Tomichi Pass, I decided to do part of the Alpine Loop today.
Left Lake City via Engineer Pass. The weather was partly cloudy to rainy. At the top of Engineer, the clouds really came in heavy. It was an interesting feeling driving down a shelf road at 13,000' with 20'-25' of visibility. DSC_0060.JPG

Beautiful! I need to get up there and do some wheeling. When did you get new flares?

Dropped into Animas Forks. A mining ghost town. I was there in 2000 or 2001 with a Full Size Jeep rally. They have done a bunch of restoration of a few buildings, and allow you to walk through them. Pretty cool.

Last few pics of Cinnamon Pass. It was pretty rainy, and we were getting tired so there aren't many pics.

Nice pics. I was just looking at the alpine loop the other day.
And yes work was fantastic!
