Re: Two Broncos in Longmont
I'm certain these are the same two I looked at a few weeks ago. If so, to say that there is salvageable sheet metal left would be a stretch.

Zach's correct. I've been trying to work with these fellas and they aren't easy.

Re: Two Broncos in Longmont
$1000 each or both?
They would need to be truly screwed for there not to be something worth salvaging for that cheap.

Two Broncos in Longmont
One truck looks as if a blind man drove it through the forest using the right side as a bumper against the trees. The other could have come from the east coast with all of the rust. Someone appears to have taken the stuff off of the Tree Bumper (late 72-73 truck) and started moving it to Rusty Pile (pre-72). But, they stopped in the middle of the process. Likely because they realized it would probably fall apart after the first pot hole.
There are two frames with POS tubs on them. Two transfer cases, both T shift, a three speed, and a 302 which is likely only good for scrap seeing as it has been out in the elements since Christ was a Corporal (that means a very long time for you civilians and boat dwellers ;)).
Additionally there is a D30 front, I think a D44, and a small bearing 9".
Tree Bumper also has a 23ish gallon tank under it of unknown manufacture.
I offered 600 for everything that was there and they didn't quite laugh but also didn't budge a penny on price, citing the "rarity" of such gems as these. "Gettin' hard to find these trucks these days" they told the guy who had 5 in his yard.

Re: Two Broncos in Longmont
One has a title. They don't actually have the title on hand. But they know one is titled. They just cannot find it. But they have promised to send the signed title along once they do find it. Pinkie swear.
Seriously.
