 Brand New never installed Vintage Air AC This unit was bought brand-new from the manufacture several years ago but never installed.
It is missing the compressor bracket which can be bought for $135 from vintage air. And it is missing the AC compatible plastic glove box. $35
I'm looking to get $750 cash money or a complete C4 set up to replace my three speed.
I would like something that's been recently rebuilt with ohhh, I don't know, let's say 3000 miles on it or less?
...oh great! Now I need $850 for it! LOL!!!

Re: Brand New never installed Vintage Air AC Looks like sd508 is the compressor. The r134a is the refrigerant. If it's a gen iv I will take it. Would like to confirm the series, any instructions?

I don't remember any ie: "GEN" type stuff in the description. Are there certain years that they were made -From/To?

This is an older system from 2001. Everything is basically the same except that the old systems use inefficient vacuum actuators, the newer ones use solid state servos.
The paperwork on this one talks about 2 vacuum solenoid hookups, not servos. They operate the dash heat, and the defroster.

Me too, I just received a laundry list of what it's going to take to make my Manual an Automatic with that setup...
Looks like I'll still be shifting, but I'll sure be "cool" doing it!
