(2) Bilstein 7100

Postby TOOLMAN » Tue May 26, 2020 3:28 pm

Two Bilstein 7100's. I only have about 300 miles on them. Zero wheeling trips. A little too short for my setup. Here's the details:

Bought from Wild Horses: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Bilstein-7100-Short-Body-Reservoir-360-80-Extended-27-Compressed-16/Bronco_Shock_Absorbers

Compressed: 16"
Extended: 27.75"
Valve: 360/80

These can be re-build and I think re-valved.

$350 obo

I might be interested but I’m kind of guessing if they were too short for you, they’d be too short for me?

I can't remember what kind of shock towers you are running. More importantly, what's your distance between shock mounting points?

I’ve got the F250 towers and the mounting point distance is about 23”

These might work well for my rears. Let me measure.

74 Ranger EFI351w, 4r70w, ARB 5.13 9in, ARB 5.13D44, and a bunch of other goodies. Best of all the family memories.

04 Mustang Cobra, KenneBell 2.2 feeding a lot of boost on E85. Tire shredding machine

New project: 77 Bronco Ranger, body work and more body work.

Very little left of a 72 durango tan explorer sport

Maybe a little short. 7" of compresion, 5" of droop. I think I'm at 23.5-24". 23" seems a little long thinking of your suspension. Aren't you running the Lars Bars with the lower shock connection on top of the arm?

I’ve got 5100 Bilsteins on now and when I bought them- I had to go with rear valved units from WH and they are a little soft but work.
