"late 70's Mopar Quadrajets"
A guy I know in town listed these Q-jet carbs on the "Gunnison stuff for sale" Facebook site. I don't know anything about Q-jets, other than they are desirable.
He wants $5 each.
If someone wants one let me know I'll grab them.

If no one else can actually use them I'll take'em to rebuild and flip. If anyone else wants one (or all) please feel free to speak up.

Re: "late 70's Mopar Quadrajets"
Those are not quadrajets. Look like carter thermoquads.

Viper to the rescue! Did some reading on them, sounds like they're a decent carb, but "Even to this day, the ThermoQuad remains one of the most misunderstood and even feared carburetors ever produced." I'll pass, not going to put time and money into something with unknown value. Read more: http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/mop ... z3KtIUHr4B

I figured. My quick google result included: "If you have ever had to work on one of these carbs you know why they are not exactly well loved. If the metering rod adjustment screw isn't enough to scare the daylights out of you there is always that plastic body." http://www.offroadexchange.com/tquad.htm
