The Motor is Out

Postby BSpick » Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:06 pm

I took everyone's advice and decided to pull my motor out myself. It took me almost a year to finally find the time, space and equipment, but on Saturday the 50 year old 302 finally came out! No injuries sustained! Now hopefully I can remember how it all goes back in when the time comes!

Nice! That's a fun project. Whats the plan for rebuild or replacement?

I picked up a used 302 from another Bronco owner with about 60k on it. He decided to put an ecoboost in his. Did some minor stuff to it (water pump, new clutch/flywheel, thermostat, plugs, wires, etc) My main goal is to get mine back on the road (been sitting since 1998). Gonna drive it for a bit and save up some more funds for future work!
