 New 2 into 1 exhaust is done. Basically.All done. Pulled the stock exhaust. Installed some Long tube headers and a custom 2 into 1 exhaust and Magnaflow performance muffler.

Re: New 2 into 1 exhaust is done. Basically. Looks and sounds great! that gives me hope for muffler change. Do you have any pics of the muffler installed also have you had a chance to test the exhaust noise on the freeway yet

So I actually bought a flomaster 40 series and was going to try to test them both out but out of just being over this project I just went with the magnaflow. It's a straight through and I'll say it's damn loud. I like the super low idle and cruising tone, but man as soon as I touch the gas pedal, it is LOUD. Sounds amazing. But loud. In hindsight I wonder if the flowmaster would have been better choice but I like the sound and will enjoy it. On that note, I have a brand new Flowmaster 40 Series iand FYI was going to post that and the pipes in the parts for sale thread - should have enough left over to build another. |
