Dakota Digital VHX with EFI VSS

 Dakota Digital VHX with EFI VSS I am in the process of installing a Dakota Digital VHX dash gauge and all I have left is to install the vehicle speed sensor. Wondering if anyone has experience installing the gauge with a Ford Explorer EFI application? How can I get the DD VSS to work with the EFI VSS and clear the parts of the t-case that are in the way?

Re: Dakota Digital VHX with EFI VSS VSS seems to be a need on some. I had issues with mine dying when I idled down to a stop that VSS fixed.

Re: Dakota Digital VHX with EFI VSS I used the Dakota digital sitter module so I could send the correct pulse to thr ECM and the appropriate (different) signal to the DD cruise Control module.

25th yr of ownership of my '76; ~3.5 yr frame-off restomod completed (100; 90+% by me) in '07 included '96 5.0 Explorer mated to NV4500, Terra Low D20, 4.88s F&R (ARBs) secured with Cage long arms and Deaver Leafs (5.5") topped with a Crab-style cage tied 6-points to the hot-dipped frame which rolls on 35" BFG KM2s on eagle alloys (flat back-as all trim) protected by sweet protofab plates F&R. it's never done. Just finished a delayed ( 3 yr) Explorer OBD-II upgrade, moved here. Now, needing to update emissions...seeking advice on that.
