Gears and cheers - Memorial Day Weekend

Postby phyler » Fri Apr 28, 2023 6:31 pm

Will be attempting to get the ZF in, again.

It will be at my place in Erie on Saturday, May 27th.

I'll supply coffee, lunch, snacks, beverages, etc.

Message me if you want to attend and don't know where I'm at.

I won’t be much help, but I’ll come hang out for a bit.

Awesome! Will be great to see you. I know at least one other person who will be in the "hang out" crowd.

Just a bump. Please let me know if you are planning to swing by. Will be picking up some breakfast burritos and will have burgers for lunch.

I'll be there - is there any reason you need me to bring my Bronco for reference? If not, I will likely just drive my truck up.

No, you're good. Just come on up. I have you, Tim, and Kirk so far with a couple of maybes.

Thanks to everyone who came out. Kirk and Mike slammed the transmission in and we quickly got things bolted together.

We ran in to a few issues in that the adaptor kit I bought off someone else was a mix mash of two different kits. So, after figuring out we were missing hardware, we got done what we could, ate lunch and called it a day.

I've picked up most of the parts or they are on order and will be here later this week. Funny, socket head cap screws are tough to find in the length needed.

Going to try and thrash on it on Saturday again and see how far I can get.

I’m certainly sorry that I didn’t see this. Let me know if you’re gonna have another one OK?
