68 Project
I’m not sure if anyone frequents this site much anymore but would prefer to give the community a shot before I hit the other sites and have to play with scammers.
In effort to simplify life and declutter I think it’s time to sell my project. I’ve been reluctant because I love the patina but think it’s time. I already own a daily driver 72 and really don’t need two(although it would be awesome!).
I acquired this in 2018 with dreams of building it like my other and driving this and giving the other to my wife. I bought from a guy in Hotchkiss. Metals good in my eyes. Needs new drivers floor board welded in. Rockers are rough but door sills are solid.
I have accumulated a bunch of parts for it and can sell as package or just rig and parts interested in. I am not selling parts before I sell Bronco.
Here’s a brief idea of what I have.:
1968 Bronco Body: Brown patina. Drivers floor cut out. Rockers are rotted. Rest of metal is good. Have hardtop. Engine: 90s 351w roller from van. Acquired Holley sniper from friend Transmission: rebuilt NV3550 out of a jeep. All adapters included. Transfer case: D20 gone through by local shop Axles: D30/9in 3.5 gears. Toms disc brake conversion. I have a D44 with 4.88s. Suspension: 2”body lift. 3.5” wild horses coils. Duffs arms. Hoops. No shocks. Wheels/Tires: 16x8 35” tires newer Bumpers: early Toms? Front. Fabricated rear with swingout tire carrier. Have 6k superwinch. New wire harness. Doors have pull off hinges Have audi seats I can add or find your own Bought electric wipers, may still have vacuum ones GT steering wheel 23gal aero tank with explorer pump refurbished speedometer
Needs(in my eyes) Fuel lines Windshield(it’s cracked) Roll cage Radiator Front shocks Other stuff
Asking $22,000 for it all. If you just have interest in bronco gutted let’s say $17,000.

Great looking Bronco, I love the stance. You were definitely on the right track with all of your parts.
Good luck with your sale, and I’m sorry for your loss!!

Re: 68 Project
A couple other goodies I thought of that I have: Brand new Duff long arms Duff hoops Wild horses coilovers Ron Francis wire harness(custom built) The original 68 302 Bronco hut exhaust with headers Short throw shifter for nv3550 All the adapters for trans plus new centerforce clutch
Again, interest in some or all considered as long as it starts with taking the bronco. Will piece out parts later if left behind. Going to give it this weekend on here before I search for interest away. Thanks all.

Re: 68 Project
Lots of great stuff. I'm sure it will go fast if you split it up. Fingers crossed you can find a single buyer for it all.
