Ass Clowns
https://www.outsideonline.com/outdoor-a ... b_sVdgl36QPretty interesting article. I found it interesting that the max fine the USFS can assess is $150. I also think there is a bit of a dilemma with the CO 4x4 Recovery Group helping at no cost to the stuck vehicle. I think it’s really cool of them to help if people are responsibly wheeling and break down or get stuck but these “ass clowns” who ignore common sense should have to pay a hefty fee to rescue their vehicle. Re: Ass Clowns
So many think that since they have a 4WD and mud tires, they can go anywhere and with the declining morals and responsibility we continue to witness, it will only get worse.
It should be that these folks should have to pay the entire recovery bill and the parties doing the rescue should have zero liability if it all goes wrong.
AC's put themselves in these predicaments. They need learn a lesson and then word will spread that the law isn't messing around...so think twice before you get past a "road closed" sign.
