Vragor Trail ride NOVEMBER 6th
Thought I would post Vragor's trail ride (hope you don't mind) Please see below. Thanks for setting up the 1st CCB trail ride Vragor! Nov 6, 2010 8:30am Light trail run - Dakan to Mt Herman Rd I'm going to lead a light trail run before Winter kicks in and closes all the roads. The purpose of the run is to have an easy family friendly run. If any of your wives are like mine, she hates hard bounce and jounce 4 wheeling. Plus my rig isn't up to anything much more than this. I'm new to leading trail rides, but I've led many bike rides. If I'm doing something dumb, don't hesistate to suggest a change, it's hard to insult the ignorant. Meet: Dakan Rd where it meets Hwy 105 between Perry Park and Sedalia. Just wait on roadside. Time: 8:30am departing 9:00am Breakfast: Have some before you arrive. If groups want to meet and eat before arriving, feel free, but please don't be late. Lunch: TBD We'll probably stop somewhere on trail for a bit if you want to bring sandwiches. Or we can eat in Monument after. Rosie's Diner is good. Communications: CB Channel 14, or find my cell # on member only board Drive Time: Google Maps shows 41 miles so probably 4 hours end to end. Google Map of the route: http://tinyurl.com/2fe4lo9I really try to leave on time. I usually write a small note with the actual departure time and leave it under a large rock at the departure meeting spot, that way late comers can decide for themselves if they think they can catch us or not. Feel free to invite non-bronco owners, I probably will. Edit Add - I've always lead groups with the understanding that anyone is free to leave the group at any time and for any reason, just Please let the leader and maybe a couple others know so that we don't panic looking for your bleeding corpse. If the group is too slow, too fast, you need to get home for an emergency, you want to go a different direction, it doesn't matter. Just tell someone. Zillacon did you figure parking out? Lobobronco is parking at my place (to drop his tow setup) and we are leaving from here. I also believe Rox Crusher is going either in his rig or hoping to catch a seat in Lobobronco's rig.

It's supposed to be the warmest day in 2 weeks. I'm still planning on lunch at Rosie's diner afterwards. http://www.coloradospringsweb.com/resta ... ie's-Diner

Anyone else who wants to tag along but is rig-less can hitch a ride with me...I'll be solo + maybe a dog.

Re: Vragor Trail ride NOVEMBER 6th
Nice relaxed day out on the trail! I'll start a thread in the Trip/Meeting Report section and post some photos and video. Vragor has the honor of putting together the Trip Report. Billie
