Re: if you could have any cars...
Yea true. Any year i'd be happy with. I also really want to build a daytona coupe kit car with a supercharged 4.6 or supercharged 5.4 out of a mustang.

Re: if you could have any cars...
I'm guessing no one else will come up with this one...I want a built 69-72 Datsun 510. Small, light and fast as hell. They also go around corners quite well. I'd also be up for a 71 or 72 Porsche 911. Finally, I'd really like an uncut, EFI/5 speed Bronco to daily drive.

Re: if you could have any cars...
Somewhat of an odd-ball rig I would like is an early Power Wagon with a cummins swap: My dad has a '68 that's been a plow truck for years. I learned to plow in that thing. Top speed, 40mph, but the PTO winch on the front can pull a house! J.D.

Re: if you could have any cars...
My Bronco has always been my dream vehicle since I was 10 and rode around in it with my dad and grandpa. My Honda VTX 1300 has been my other dream for the last few years.
I would love to find a 60s era Mustang and rebuild it with my Son and my Sons in law (Daughters too if they want).

Re: if you could have any cars...
I had a "girlfriend" in high school that her step dad had a 72 Pantera. I didn't know much about them back then or even recognize what it was, so I never appreciated it. I also had a friend who's step dad had a 69 Road Runner with 22k original on it. I knew what that was and because I did, the step dad let me drive it. That was my first exposure to a Hemi, and was it an amazing feeling!!

Re: if you could have any cars...
My first car was almost a restored Road Runner. 4 on the floor and could burn rubber in each. But I couldn't come up with the $4k. So I settled for a $1k 1983 Mercury Capri RS 302 V8 and 4brl Holley. Still a great first car and plenty fast enough.

Re: if you could have any cars...
For all of you who want GT40's, AC Cobra's, Shelby Mustang's and a few other rare and cool cars you should check out the Shelby American Museum in Boulder. http://shelbyamericancollection.org/index.htmlI've been and it's the stuff of legends! So I want anything from there plus a few others...

Re: if you could have any cars...
VERY Rare Shelby Daytona
I rode there in this
and the man is there for the christmas party, look close, hes an awesome and funny guy.
They have themes each year for the party and the year I went, it was tech themed, so a bunch of tech that helped Carrol Shelby Develop the Tiger into a monster and the ford GT 40 as well were there, it was funny as we talked about how they would cut small sections of pipe to make the tight bends back then, then weld them all in after, now it can be done with true mandrel benders. LOL

Re: if you could have any cars...
It's truly amazing how much technology has changed in automobile fabrication...Not to mention all the inside scoop you got to hear about the initial production. I think it was 1964 when Lee approached Carroll about Ford Racing and their initial budget was 2.4 million dollars. Crazy what they built to rival ENZO!
