Re: Stump the Bronco Chump Friday Edition I have actually used a Bobby pin for one of those in the past. My grandmother was with me at the time and I had to pull onto the raised median at an intersection.. I'll never forget the look on her face! It was at least 20 years ago and the first Bronco I ever had.. Glad the "doo" she was wearing then, required bobby pins.

Re: Stump the Bronco Chump Friday Edition I used to keep a few finish nails in the glovebox for shifter linkage replacement pins. Probably not the best replacement, but it worked in a pinch.

1972 Sport, 302, 3 speed with old school Duff floor shifter, T shift Dana 20 with JB Fab twin stick, 4.11 gears with Trac-loc, Lincoln hydroboost, Chevy disc conversion, WH gas lift gate shock kit, 33" Duratrac tires on slots and about 2.5" of lift, Stroppe installed: bumper braces, dual shocks on all four corners, GM power steering, trans cooler mount, auto shift column, rollbar.

Re: Stump the Bronco Chump Friday Edition I had the same thing happen on a dirt road. As I pulled up to the highway, I stopped & "stole" some bailing wire off a mailbox & fixed the problem.
