Disc swap tech day
There has been some interest in a disc swap/servicing wheel bearings tech day and I'm about to do one on my truck. I'm pretty comfortable with how everything goes together, but wouldn't mind having someone who has a little more knowledge join it so that I don't hand out any bad advice. Tentatively this would happen at my house in Frederick on the 14th, but a spot in Denver may come open on that date. The date is also flexible, just want to get them on before the Memorial Day run. Anyone interested in helping out and how many people might be interested in attending?

Re: Disc swap tech day
If the possibility exists that a second person could also do the swap (knuckles out) on the same day, and someone else is interested, I have a line on some D44 knuckles and spindles. These are the 5 bolt 76-77 and later spindles. I'll post the ad up in the parts section.
Sorry for hijacking.

Re: Disc swap tech day
There may be time to do a second truck. I won't be able to start the tech day until about 11:30 as my son has swim lessons in the morning, but this isn't a massive job, especially since I've already swapped out the ball joints in the knuckles. So, no promises but I think it could happen as long as things go moderately smoothly with my rig.
Zoso, I'll definitely take you up on that! Thank you! That actually works really well as it'll simplify my getting your reamer back to you as well. Thanks for letting me hang onto it for so long.
