Seat Belt Talk
The forum on on the cool pics topic took that topic over so I started another to respond.
Gunnibronco - Thanks for that link on those belt, that is a great price. I am going to order a set to see if they may work in our Firebird. Look similar at a fraction of the cost.
The S-10 3-point setup (not sure what year) is an easy setup for the Broncos and looks good. I know using used seatbelts is not ideal, but they are still 10 - 25 years newer than the originals.
As for the Quick connect vs. the lever on the racing harness it is all preference. I have used both years ago in race cars. I can see where it was difficult for Jesus_man's buddy to release the quick release, but even with the other you need to get to the same area, find the lever, then pull the lever back to get them to release. I would say equally difficult in this situation.

Re: Seat Belt Talk
I can't remember where I found them but I haven't seen prices anywhere close to theirs. When you get a set, let us know how they are- good, bad, cheap? If I had found those, before installing the Jeep set, I would already have a some.
I used front seat belts out of a 78 or 79 Jeep Wagoneer with great/easy success. Welded a plate to the roll cage down low for the retractor. For the upper shoulder mount, I put a little triangle "gusset" where rear leg of the roll bar meets the roll hoop (Smittybuilt "cage"). The floor mounts bolted to the stock locations & that was it. I'll take some pics & post them here.

Re: Seat Belt Talk
I pulled some from about an 89 toyota pickup and they bolted in very easily and work well. The coil assembly bolted to the side wall just ahead of my wheel well and then I put the swivel up on my roll bar.
