 can anyone lend some thread taps I was going to do the chevy tie rod swap. I was wondering if anyone has taps to tread tubing. Looking for 7/8 18 thread pitch. Left and right hand thread. Having a hard time findi.g either.

 Re: can anyone lend some thread taps I went down the same road, couldn't find anyone. A machine shop can probably do it for you. I got some weld-in bungs from High Country 4x4 and used 1.5" .250 wall tubing.

Re: can anyone lend some thread taps Use the bungs. Finding those taps is pretty hard. I also looked all over for them and to buy them is not cheap. Just get the bungs and weld them in. I'd try a machine shop or 4x4 shops.
