That is one of my favorite colors for the EBs. Very nice looking ride you have there! Lots of work ahead but looks like a solid vehicle. I love the diamond-plate backing to the stereo! Whatever works:) What are your plans?

Great score my man! Why don't you bring it to Hockeydad4-22's on 7/9/11 and we'll help you with some of the items on the "to do" list.

Re: 73 Ranger - My first EB
sorry to disagree but thats not the heater core, the heater core is on the passenger side, that looks like the drain is clogged and the seals are bad in the fresh air vent box, so its filling up with water and leaking in the truck, swing that door open on that fresh air vent and i'd bet you'll find it full of leaves and junk, but either way it needs to be resealed, and congrats on the ride, definetly a project, but it does have quite a few things good going for it, im not sure if its the same one i saw on craigslist, does it have lockers?

Re: 73 Ranger - My first EB
Those are some great before pics. Really excited to see it after a couple of cans of engine degreaser. Looks like it has a ton of great adds - stereo, front bumper, killer tires, and the sweet Hellcat rims (like Plumbdoctor), GT steering wheel, rock skis, WOW! Nice find and happy it all worked out for ya!

When we opened ours up for the first time, it looked like it had been used for a compost hopper.

Re: 73 Ranger - My first EB
you can block it off and run a air duct tube to it if you want to, but when its all sealed up and the drain tube isn't clogged it works quite well, also if you don't see the need for it, Protofab4x4.com has a stow away container with lid that fits in its place thats pretty cool, and to get those seals to reseal it you'll need to order them from one of the bronco vendors, whether you choose bronco graveyard, wildhorses4x4, toms bronco parts, all 3 of them should have it, i know bronco graveyard does. either way awesome purchase man, i look forward to wheelin' with ya!
