So get this:

Monday: Our dryer breaks. No big deal, call the old landlord and we will get a new one soon.
Wednesday: Find out about our dog's torn ACL.
Today: Drunk driver (my neighbor) hits our Bronco on the driver's side, then he takes off. But it gets worse/better. He drives 4 blocks south and hits 2 more cars, the airbag went off at that point, but he turned left and hit one more car. Then, he tured left on Welton by the RTD Lightrail and hit 8 more cars. He then rear ended a Ford Econoline Cargo Van at 55 mph which was pushed into a box delivery truck. His car was a 2000s Pontiac Grand Am and is 100% destroyed. According to the police officer I spoke with, he may not make it through the night. He was a decent neighbor and I feel sorry for him. The green paint on my driver's door is a perfect match. As is the license plate that my neighbor wrote down while he backed into my Bronco and sped off. Luckily, my neighbor was walking by when this happened.

Anyway, I harbor no hard feelings for the damage to our Bronco. It can and will be fixed. I do harbor some anger towards him for being stupid and hurting (killing) himself for no good reason. I hope he lives and if he does, I hope he never drives or s again.

Folks, this guy was hammered and decided to drive... Please be safe out there.

That must have been the car or what looked like a car last night on the news sitting on or near the light rail tracks. Bummer about the Bronco and also about the damage he did to himself and others left in his path.

That sucks. Pretty stupid on that guys part. J.D had a similar thing happen with his last bronco but it was bad enough to total it.

Holy crap! I saw the aftermath as I was heading onto Downing last night! It didn't look like anyone had made it out of that car.

Sounds like that sucked for everyone involved. Hope you have a good weekend to balance out the lousy week!

That sucks, what I will never understand is why did anyone let him leave his home in the first place? Was he alone? I do my best to look out or my friends and if I feel they have had too much to I make sure they get home safely. Or do not leave home if they are home.

Sorry about your Bronco, thankfully it is just a material item and not your arm or leg he ran over. And good thing he didn't hurt anyone else but himself.
I hope he pulls through and gets some real help, not the alcohol classes the court orders him to do but some real help.
