Power steering mods
I heard that some one in the club knows how to swap a f-150 4X4 and a 4X2 box to make a crawler box. And that they can do it in the junk yard so you only have to pay for 1 box. Does any one know who that is? and if they would be willing to show me or run out to the junkyard with me. I just dont want to pay the $600 for box already done. I have a stock bronco power steering box now and 37 inch tall tires, it does the job but bigger is better. Thanks

Re: Power steering mods
Cascadejohnson is who you are wanting to talk to. He's really active on cb if you can't get him here.

Re: Power steering mods
I've got one of Cascade's 4x4x2 boxes and love it. I can press the tip of my finger against the steering wheel and turn my 35x13.5" tires on dry pavement.

Re: Power steering mods
Yes, you can do it and it is a pretty straight forward deal. Read everything on this link and then reread it to make sure you have it correct & then head to the junkyard. It's a good idea to just pull what you need rather than buying 2 boxes.
