Post Snap Ring PLiers
I need a new set. I have had these for a few years and they are nothing but junk!

What's out that this is good for external and internal snap rings yet doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I have a set you can borrow. Blue point (snap on) but you can find good sets of them at just about any parts store even harbor freight. I would check with NAPA or CW first for a decent set. If you can wait, go to the tri state swap meet and buy from the vendor there. Also Greybeards rod n custom show also had a tool vendor there last year. That is in November on thanksgiving weekend!

I think mine were about $25 from Sears and have worked well.

A appreciate the offer to borrow, but I really need my own set. Twice now these have caused much pain and anguish. This time, they simply failed to perform, so it's time. Maybe I can swing by a sears and see what Craftsman has to offer. Would love some blue-points, but I fear they will be expensive.

For the shade tree mechanic that uses snap ring pliers 3 maybe 4 times a year, I think I better stick with a cheaper pair. I may take you up on that offer Corey when there is a tool that I use regularly.

Even as a technician I barely used them, maybe as much as you.
