Re: Need an engine...
Greg, I would be willing to unload the 302 out of the turd, if your still needing a motor, its got some miles on her but doesn't smoke or knock etc

Re: Need an engine...
Cool, how much do you need for said turd motor?
Honestly, we are looking for a temporary motor for now, while we rebuild ours, and make decisions about EFI etc.... Just need something that starts, runs and moves Drew's little pony under its own power.
Thanks,
Greg

Re: Need an engine...
I copied this from Zilla's CL ad he posted yesterday, is this a good motor for a bronco? I seem to remember something about the mustang motors not having the torque we need. I might go have a look and see anyway as a potential swap for the other son's stang somewhere down the road but if it is a good motor and decent deal, then I will have a go at it for Drew's little pony... Here is the ad. 1993 ford mustang 5.0 H.O engine - $600 (golden) Date: 2011-09-12, 9:46AM MDT Reply to: sale-n9aay-2594581561@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] complete 81,000 miles on engine car ran perfect just wrecked car took out for furture project i can provide wiring harness and computer for add 250.0

Re: Need an engine...
I have a complete 302 that came out of the '70 I bought, replaced it with a Mustang 5.0. It's complete from carb to correct EB oil pan. You can have it for $125 if you want it. It ran great when I pulled it, I just don't need it and it's taking up space. PM or call me at 719-660-8093 if interested. Joe
