I'm looking for suggestions on driving lights. I need two sets-one for the Bronco and one for the WRX. I'd like to be able to use both on the street without blinding oncoming drivers, so a build in cutoff would be good. For the Subaru I've got about a 6.5" size limitation (think Hella 500s) and no restrictions on the Bronco. Money is an object, but I'm willing to pay more for better parts. Any favorites?

What is your goal for lighting? Are you trying to light up the sides of the roads or ahead of you or?? Are you running HID's? After putting HID's in my truck and having them stock in my wife's car, I can tell you they are incredible compared to Halogen... Light is a more natural color and really helps at night.

I have been looking long and hard for a set for my truck and settled on Rigid industries Dually D2 LED's. They are spendy, but everyone says they are incredible! I got a wide beam as I am using them to replace the Superduty fog lights. I just need the time to modify the bumper so I can install them, but I am anxious to try them out.

It's a fine line to get a light that will help you see, but not blind traffic.

Oh and if you want distance lighting, I came up with a schematic so you can wire your lights to come on with high beams, be off, or on with a switch.

I'm looking to light up the road ahead of me. I'm not running HIDs and don't plan to as I don't like running them in housings that aren't designed for it. I really miss the ones in my Mazda, as they were awesome and am just looking to get a little more light for those dark stretches of freeway in both vehicles, especially as we're headed into (or out of, I can never remember) daylight savings time. I spend a lot of time out in the boonies for my job. Blindingly bright lights are a pet peeve of mine, so I want to be careful to not do that to others while still getting better illumination. I've thought about LEDs since they're really easy to fabricate (the chips only run about $5 each-the trick is the waterproof housing with adequate cooling), but that gets back to the not blinding people thing.
