Loosing a $60 part for the fuel bowl on your truck. Leaving you without a vehicle. Once I buy the new one I know I'll find the old one laying on the garage floor.

Cold garage makes you work faster...if you don't account for the thawing breaks. Blood flows slower out of your hand too after you jam it into your geared shift lever.

It sucks to have finished 3 coats of primer, and 3 coats of enamel, and then have your hood scoop sitting in the sun drying, and you run into it with your car. It's not horrible damage but I did scuff it up in a few areas:(

It sucks to get a hair up your ass...and decide to replace 42 year old head gaskets....then finally get the thing apart and find you didn't drain all the coolant.

I actually don't think it's worth the effort to do this. I may just pull it.

You can never get all the coolant out. Just change the oil and it'll be fine.

Yea.....got most of it dried out. Now to figure out how to remove all the old gasket.

You just use razor blades etc? These are stuck on their good.

I have always used a 3M roloc disc for all pof the engine work I have done.

these are great for this type of work. you use red for aluminum and brown for cast iron. Saves you hours of cleaning with a scraper. then wash down with brake cleaner and change the oil before restart.

Those look good. I'd be a bit concerned about the dust though.

Cover the intake valley and oil ports in the block with rags first. Use a shop vac to cleanup after.

Hearing a "POP" and watching a crack run across your virgin windshield. It was a good run, it lasted almost 2 whole years. That's life in Gunnsion.

I wish I could get two weeks out of my new windshields! I don't know what it is, but my trucks windshields always have cracks. My first truck I ever bought got snagged by a stray stone just a few miles from the dealer lot!

Exactly why I finally went will full glass coverage for all our vehicles. They will replace, at no charge, any glass on the vehicle....and there is no limit on the amount of times per year.

Two weeks in Watkins, CO with no Internet and one bar of Edge coverage. Took 10 minutes just to post this after reloading 100 times.

Having to sell everything you own just to get by. Bronco sold, Sold the 67 Mustang (owned it since 1992, that's twenty years) and the F100 is next. I have my reasons and they are definitely validated but it still sucks. I have given most of my furniture and other things I have no room or use for to goodwill. I feel that once I am down to just my clothes and my pickup I will find that new job and start earning a living again.
