Drivers side fresh air box removal

 Drivers side fresh air box removal iam trying to remove the drivers side fresh air box but even after i removed the screws inside the top It doesn't want to budge.
I assume that the box is just set in place since it hasn't moved since the Disco era but wanted to check before i started yanking on it.
I also see the drain might be holding the bottom to the engine compartment...
are there any other screws holding this thing in?

Re: Drivers side fresh air box removal The only screws are on the top, the drain may still have the vent tube on it that may impede you taking it off but it sounds like the weather stripping is fused to the body.

Re: Drivers side fresh air box removal I don't know your rig, but on the early years they did use screws on the front/firewall side, as well as the top. My Sons '66 had several on the firewall side.

Re: Drivers side fresh air box removal Ya i was looking, only thing I saw was the parking brake bolts.. i think its the drain holding me up, no biggie i will tackle it again here today.
