Post FWD Rocks
Drove home in front wheel drive today, after last weeks Hooky Day wheeling trip I picked up a vibration at 40mph, thought maybe I lost a balancing weight, NOT! I ran a errand today and the vibration was starting to expand through the speed range so I pulled over and got under for a look, u-joint is gone at the rear end. Locked the hubs and twin sticked it to FWD, a bit squirrelly with the locker but I made it home.

I had that happen to me one time. Blizzard of 97. I was on I-25 headed to college in Ft. Collins when my driveshaft went out. It was a Tom Wood shaft to boot. I called him the next morning and he overnighted me a brand new shaft.

Happened to me twice in the last year. Once in the Bronco and once in the Super Duty. Gotta LOVE FWD.

Hey Kirk, wow been off line for a bit, had a bit of a fender bender a couple months back, totaled my car and got pretty bounced around been off line and finally back to the real world. Any luck on a steering box? Give me a call Dennis 303 807-8061. Had a PC crash and phone upgrade after getting off Sprint. Imagine that lost lots My Outlook about the same time so thought I would ping ya here. Also have not been getting any of the club emails, and know I ordered some club Tshirts way back at the last meeting. early summer at the Golden Coral. Nothing like a concussion and time in the hospital to really mess up your summer. Call me please, tanks Dennis Sr. 303 807-8061.
