Post Hummer (HMMWV) Vehicle Seats
I know that I need to replace the seats in my 75DBE -- as the frames were actually broken by the previous owner. Has anyone looked at using Hummer (HMMWV) vehicle seats as replacements? Just wondering.

May be too wide, plus the hand full of times I've been in them they aren't very comfortable, an Army dude would have more to say.

If you're talking about the canvas military seats you may as well sit on a stack of sandbags. If you need some Bronco seat frames (no mounts or sliders), I can give you my old ones.

Thanks sir. The issue with the seats that I have is that the previous owner was a VERY large man and more precisely, the seat back broke from the seat base so the seats are in constant recline! Here is a picture of the seats I was considering -- I need to locate dimensions.

Do you have a link or where are your pictures?

You'd probably be better off heading to the junkyard looking for some low-pro seats. Even the parts stores can get some inexpensive racing seats Even craigslist...
