From your list..I would stick with the 351 heads you have...just get them cleaned up and rebuilt.

Just for my own edjemeckation, what is the difference between the various heads? I'm guessing the 351w heads flow better, but why, and why are the e6se's junk?

They have small valves and a large bump In the exhaust port, flow poorly and are a smog head --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?xgnyts

The valves aren't any smaller than the others sorry bout that, but with the 64cc chamber they'll lower the compression= less power, the e7te's are decent about the only benefit of them over the early 351w heads is the valves should be plated valves in the e7te's, less prone to wear than the early stuff --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?lt0let

if the e6's have been plained that should bring down the chamber size correct? I guess i should measure what size cc they actually are... i dont think they are stock anymore..

E7's are the best ones listed. I don't think the mid 70's 351w heads are any different than 302 heads other than the head bolt hole size.

I would go with the E7's as well, a very common head.
