Ideas for 71' rolling chassis w/title
Hey Guys,
Been a while since I've posted anything, but after a conversation with packratt75, I decided to get some ideas on what to do with my spare chassis.
Originally, I traded my dirtbike for my 74' Sport and a 71' rolling chassis. The guy was in a pinch to get them out of the place he was storing them, so he threw in the 71' also. Both have clean titles and I've been getting the 74' road worthy, albeit extremely slowly.
The 71' is bare bones; Dana 30, 9", 3sp tranny (no bellhousing), but has a clean title. Originally, I had planned on building two and selling one, but as you all know, there's little to no profit to be made restoring and selling these beauties. The reward is in driving them.
So, anyone have any ideas on what to do with it? Packratt75 knows a guy that has some title issues, is that the best candidate for something like this? Should I part it out? What's something like this worth? I would like to get as much as possible so I can use those funds to get out of this current stalemate between my Bronco and my checkbook.
I appreciate any and all ideas you guys might have...
Chad M.

Welcome back to the site, man - missed ya. Lots going on this weekend and a steering tech day next weekend. I don't have any ideas for your rig, but happy you are doing good.

I'd be interested in the frame itself.

Put a price on it as it sets. I would be interested as well, but as a project build frame up from scratch. (I want to stretch one into an extra cab so I do not need anything pretty - just a foundation to build from) and the parts I do not need/use I will post up to the club at low - super low discounted prices...

I agree with other posters, put a price on it as is.
I would be interested in it to assemble a plow truck.
