muffler shops, anyone have a good one that they use
that also isnt too expensive.
I need to extend my tailpipes out from under the truck to help get rid of fumes and my system is rather rusty and I might just replace it. talked to a local Englewood shop and they want $500 to ditch the duals and run a single out the passenger side. Does that seem reasonable? Its been along time since I had exhaust done on a truck cant remember what its supposed to cost.

BDM in Denver did my old f150 for 450. Magniflow mufflers sounded nice.

AA Performance Muffler & Brakes on Broadway in Littleton. These guys are awesome! I had them install duals. I supplied Hooker Competition Turbo mufflers but they can get anything you want. They had it done a couple hours after dropping it off. http://local.yahoo.com/info-19565314-aa ... eton%2C+CO

Re: muffler shops, anyone have a good one that they use
The last time I had an exhaust put on was about 10 years ago so I can't speak for current pricing. I went to "Englewood muffler and radiator". I think was the name. I had used these guys for radiator work several times so I tried them for the exhaust. I had the headers and mufflers so they just needed to bend and run pipe for duals. Cost was $200. They are a small hole in the wall type of place but they do good work. They are on north Federal about 29st. Check the yellow pages and see if they are still around.

I just got the exhaust done at AA Performance and will agree they do great work, really happy with how it looks and sounds, just have to burn off the oil residue. they threw on a "turbo" muffler. Comparable to a Flowmaster in design and sound.
