Explorer/Cobra Upper intake & Serp, 302 Roller shortblock
Looking at picking up a 302 roller block from a mustang or even a Fullsize F150 - Bronco (94-96)
Also looking for the explorer serp setup and upper intake, MAF and all the goodies off the top end.
Ideally would love to pick up a pair of GT40 heads as well.
I will be getting the heads rebuilt and the block looked over, possibly cleaned and honed.. depending on condition and mileage.
The pick n pull in denver is a bit short on explorer parts, but i know other yards in the greater denver area are a bit easier to find stuff in.
Any leads will help - thanks guys!

Call this guy I have purchased a lot of parts from, Ed 303-936-4021. Sold my Co worker a complete ready to run with less than 100k miles roller 351w for $275. Constantly has engines in various condition laying around and always cheap! Knows his stuff about fords too!

Last I was at the COS yard all the GT40s were stripped. A few GT40P motors still laying around though. I'll keep my eyes open.

Re: Explorer/Cobra Upper intake & Serp, 302 Roller shortbloc
ok didn't get all the parts i needed.. and was having a bear of a time trying to get the clutch fan and balancer off.. any tricks to getting them off in the yard? the balancer has that bolt then you can use a puller to yank it off or if your lucky it might pull off correct? I guess i can take a crobar and try to stop the motor from turning? Was getting frustrated so stopped trying to get it off.. anyway got this stuff.. Iam going to reuse my 78 block but taking it in to get looked at and refreshed a bit.
