cooling issues while pulling with 400. not eb related sorry
while pulling my new toy this weekend i got a little hot on big pulls. around 210-240 depending on the length of the pull. when at idle its fine, around town, no problems. i have a 190 thermostat, fan shroud, 7 blade clutch fan. stock water pump, has the big radiator that is hard to find from ford. even didnt heat up coming back down. trying to keep this more managable. any ideas comments concerns appreciated. bronco does same thing on the highway but is fine crawling and around town. i have a/c on the pickup so i know the condenser is going to take some air. thanks guys

That's where your going to see the highest temps. Is the clutch on the fan working properly? It should be tight when it's hot. I've had a few of those and replaced them with a good flex fan but when they work they work pretty well.

how would i check if the clutch on the fan is working properly

The clutch should spin by hand fairly easily when cold and when it is hot it should hardly spin by hand.
