Explorer fan specs
Does anyone know how "deep" the explorer mech fan is... with the clutch? I am thinking of going back to this from my Taurus fan, but I dont have an explorer fan and I would like to know if it will fit before I buy one.
...finding one to buy is another story.

Re: Explorer fan specs
I just took a rough measurment on mine and it is about 2-3/4" from the pulley out to the end of the clutch housing (which sticks out slightly further than the fan blades)
you can get them at the PNP for about 24 big ones

Explorer fan specs
I might know someone who has one ;)
I might have an extra clutch fan here.

Re: Explorer fan specs
...great. I would love to try it. How much do you want for it? Any parts you need in trade?

Re: Explorer fan specs
These can only be mounted with the Explorer serpentine setup, correct?

Re: Explorer fan specs
Hey give me a call/text and we can set it up. Today might work, depending on location.
THANKS!

Re: Explorer fan specs
V-belt & serp are different rotation. Here is a clutch fan set up for v-belts. I installed it last winter, and seems to be working good. I haven't run any trails with it, yet. I moved my radiator forward just a bit, by moving my rad mounts to the front of the core support, this set up is just slightly deeper than stock & I'm running a 4 core rad: http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81601
