Does this appear to be the correct Np 435 for a bronco swap.

If so how intensive is the swap?

I never quite got to grips with what vehicles the right NP435s came out of. I think mine came from a vehicle that wasn't "on the list".

The important thing is that it is a 28 spline output shaft.

There are two bolt patterns for the t-case/tranny mount. "A" shaped and "square". Adapters are available for both, but you should do more research, I put mine in over 10 years ago, and I don't remember much of what I read then.

Mine was from a 69? F150 4x4 w/28 spline & A shaped bolt pattern. But, according to this:
http://classicbroncos.com/tech/np435-4- ... sion-guide

it shouldn't have had a 28 spline output shaft, but it did.

You'll need your 3 speed bellhousing, the FE block bellhousing won't work on a 302.

You also need the adapter plate & the 6 cylinder intermediate housing if I remember right. But you definitely need the square bolt pattern. Like Gunni, I did mine well over 10 years ago, but you have to get one out of a 2wd truck because the output shaft on a 4x4 is longer and would have to be swapped out. Doable, but easier if you are able to find the 2wd version.
