(NEW) Explorer rear dic brake conversion kit
I have a rear dic brake conversion kit for a ford 9 inch. All the parts are new not take offs from a junk yard. The kit includes calipers with pads, rotors, complete parking brake, backing plates, and mounting plates. The kit is missing some bolts and brakelines. This kit have never been used. Asking $100 Call or text with any questions Scott 303-506-9227 Can text pics if needed.

Very interested. I can paypal you, and wait for a chance to get the parts from the front range, or I can pay extra ship them.

Re: (NEW) Explorer rear dic brake conversion kit
Next! I'd take it, but it won't fit by big bearing housing. This is probably the best upgrade out there for someone with a "medium duty" (big bearings, but 3/8th in bolts) housing. The explorer disc setup is sweet because it has small drum brake inside the disc for the e-brake. All the benefits of a disc with none of the hassles. Bump for screaming great price as well.

Re: (NEW) Explorer rear dic brake conversion kit
Sure it will, just a bit of drilling and your golden. I drilled the brackets instead of welding the housing and redrilling. All done in a long day, the brake off set wasnt even a problem

Re: (NEW) Explorer rear dic brake conversion kit
rtreads told me it was a Wild Horses kit, which would make it a Cadilac brake kit. The WH kit came w/3/8" or 1/2" bolts, and it looks like the mounting plates are drilled for different axle flanges. Not sure which kit this is, exactly. But I don't think its actually an Explorer kit.
Post up some pics?

I'm not sure how to post pics up. I called WH and they said that it is a explorer kit. I can text pics to anyone if that will help.

Re: (NEW) Explorer rear dic brake conversion kit
When I pulled up the WH install instructions, the replacement parts for the brake kit listed GM parts. That is why I thought it was GM. Maybe it is a different kit than the one I looked at. http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Re ... Brake_Kitshttp://cdn.wildhorses4x4.com/downloads/ ... -15-12.pdf

Re: (NEW) Explorer rear dic brake conversion kit
I think they sell 2 different kits. From what I can tell the kit with the axles is Explorer based and the one without is Caddy based. Not sure, but best guess from talking to them and looking at the pics on their site.
