The wife's '03 Durango is in need of a new set of shocks, what do you guys like for a ride like that? I was told that OEM replacement quality was the Monroe Sensa-Trac. Thoughts?

That's probably about right. I'd take a look at what's out there in a nicer aftermarket part. I'm partial to Bilstein, but the better Monroe models are good too.

If I knew I was going to keep this thing longer than a couple more years, I'd go with a Bilstein, but my wife has talked about possibly getting a newer truck for her and she only puts 4-5k on it a year. Hell, it is 10 years old and only has 65k on it now and 20k of that was from the previous owner. So, I guess I'll just go with the Monroes and see where it takes me.

I put monroe reflex's on my superduty and it was a night and day difference. Good shock for the money. When the time comes again i'll try bilstein's
