Gulp....mine???
Ok....I'm not sure where to start, not sure if I really want to sell it, life is short ani need to throw this out there..... I wish I had Leno's money, I would rival him for a collection, truth is I'm just a car slut and can only rent them. When I originally got this Bronco, I was just searching for an old truck to tool around in, haul stuff in and take the grand kids and dog fishing. I'm not a wheeler or a wrench, and maybe this truck isn't for me, but I love it. There has been a lot of time and effort put into it, by guys in this club too especially ZOSO to get it to where it is, and I will be forever indebted to him, viper, mike, Jeff, booger, etc. too. And of course, a ton of cash. I need to feel this out and see what happens. My eyes have wandered to a 1965-66 ford f100 style side. Not sure what to do, but want to test the market, and thought as usual I'd start here for advice and see if someone in the club was interest in keeping it in CO. As booger once said, Broncos should do what the good lord and Henry Ford intended them to do. Most know what it has from 9", dana 44, a rebuilt 351 Windsor with Howell fuel injection, c4, power steering, brakes, center counsel, stereo, speakers, new tires, etc. Bronco Connection took out all the rust, painted to the original. If i was doing a national sale i might ask as much as $18,00-20,000 for it with much more invested. Advice needed. Maybe I shouldn't even be considering this??

Say it ain't so! That's a sweet ride, and worth what you're thinking. As much as I'd like to see it stay local, eBay may be where you see top dollar, with CB.com close behind.

Re: Gulp....mine???
Beautiful half cab, you should get that price easy. I understand where you are coming from and you should follow your gut feeling.
For me, most of the fun for my last two builds was the challenge of building them. But with that said, I've actually grown tired of the challenge and just want to enjoy them. The money dumped into them can be frustrating, but the time invested is too much for me now.
In other words, try to get top value so you can buy the next toy complete instead of building from scratch. Good luck

Re: Gulp....mine???
I can't say I'm thrilled about this. I think I would just like to give a different old truck a try. I posted it on Classicbroncos.com for $20,000 but I would consider much less if it stayed around here. I haven't gone to Craigslist or EBay or anything like that yet. I'll see how this goes.

I posted to Craigslist. I would certainly go less for a club member. Not feeling really good about thus.

Re: Gulp....mine???
Zach......how funny. That dude emailed me and wants me to take a look. We discussed it but it is the wrong theme for me. I want the two tone, original looking, style side, an old fishing truck, not a hot rod....so I will probably pass. I have a guy stopping by in a bit with $100s in his hand he claims. We'll see. This is the one I think I will get if the deal goes through at far less than the asking price.

That's a nice ride. My grandpa had an almost identical one in white and red. Not as shiny, obviously.

Yup. He used it to tow his boat. I grew up in Seattle, we fished for salmon.
