Re: The next LUBR build?
I found myself admiring it on my Craigslist rounds this morning too! New fenders and she'd look pretty good.

Viper and I were just saying the same today. Some new sheet metal upfront, a little elbow grease, and it would make a fine budget ride.

Re: The next LUBR build?
I'm the owner of that pretty machine there, glad you guys are admiring it. I used the information I found on this website countless times. As you can see, the front end is rough, but it runs and drives good. I drove it every day last summer, and will again this year if it doesn't sell. I have received several phone calls on it, and the main issue with it is that the top and doors don't line up perfectly. When I bought it, it was not running, and I had to repair rust in the floors, kick panels, and rockers. I used a set of doors and a top to line it back up as best I could, but could not get it exactly right. I will include a couple of pictures of what it looked like when I bought it, and as I was making repairs, to give you an idea. Anyway, it would make a great trail rig, or just an around town cruiser as I use it for. Let me know if you have any questions, or if you want to come check it out.
Ben
Also, what is a LUBR?

Re: The next LUBR build?
Looks like this now. You can see that there is about an inch gap between the windscreen and top.
