Anyone have an Astro Hydroboost Output Rod?
Found the reason why my brake pedal is rock hard.....neither the booster, nor the master cylinder came with an output rod as shown in this pic. Local parts shops don't seem to have them. Anyone have an extra? Thanks.

Pretty sure I have one rolling around in the floor of the 72 somewhere. I'll look and see if I can find it.

Re: Anyone have an Astro Hydroboost Output Rod?
Not sure if all of the output rods have it, but the Lincoln rod I picked up had an adjustable portion on the end. This allowed you to extend or reduce the overall length of the rod. Handy when you are using a different master cylinder where the depth of the input on the master cylinder might be different than the original application.

Cool, let me know. I think there are 3 parts, the rod, spring, and retainer that I need.

Re: Anyone have an Astro Hydroboost Output Rod?
I called around to every shop and even a Chevy parts shop at the dealer. He told me this part was never even manufactured as a stand alone. So that means I have to find one.....or find an entire Hydroboost unit with MC attached.

Re: Anyone have an Astro Hydroboost Output Rod?
I'm not sure if this is the right one but I have a hydroboost with the mc attached to it. I do not remember which year it came out of but it is from an Astro van. I needed the push rod and unfortunately damaged the cup that the rod sits in. Yours if you want it.

That's not exactly the same model as yours is designed to mount on an angle.....I'm betting the pushrod may be the same length though. How much do you want for it?

Re: Anyone have an Astro Hydroboost Output Rod?
I'm heading to Fountain this morning for an install. I'll be there for a few hours and then head to Aurora afterwords. It might be better to meet up this weekend if you could wait until then.
