Odd ball electrical question

 Odd ball electrical question Wish I had a picture to help explain, but I'm 60 miles from my Bronco.
Inside the front driver door post of my Bronco is a do-dad with two wires runnin out of it. This do-dad has a Ford part number on it and is held in place by two screws. Anyone know what I'm talking about and has a clue what this thing does? Or rather what it is supposed to do?

Re: Odd ball electrical question The actual door post or the inner fender? Only thing in that area that I know of is the radio antenna, but that goes through the kick panel / inner fender.

Re: Odd ball electrical question Viper knows exactly what it is. I believe he said it was a temp sensor for something. They are only available on 1 year. If you look at all later broncos they have a grommet plug there.
