Pig Roast
A group of us in the Springs have planned for a few years now to have a pig roast. This year it's going to happen. We have had at length discussions on who gets an invitation and decided to post it here and get an idea of how many may be interested. Something like this could easily get out of hand so the numbers has to be somewhat limited to be able to make this a successful and fun event. I have no idea what the response will be so here it is and we will play the cards as they are dealt. Let me know if interested. Don

Re: Pig Roast
Sounds great! Wish I could make it! Maybe another in a couple more years...semi-annual?

Re: Pig Roast
Don, I'd love to come to the event. It's been too long since I got a chance to hang with any bronco friends. I won't have the 66 there unless it's Flintstone style as it is without power train. But then again what's new?

Re: Pig Roast
I would love to go but my vacation plans conflict so I'll likely miss this one. Crap, I love pork!

Re: Pig Roast
Yes it is really short notice and I apologize for it and fathers day weekend also. We originally planned for just a local group but we all have friends within the state so here we are. This will be a real learning experience and if it goes over well maybe set another one up later this summer where there is more time to plan for it. Don

Re: Pig Roast
Doesn't look like I'm going to make it after all. Just found out my son has his first ever t-ball game that day-not about to miss it. Have a great time, I look forward to another!

Re: Pig Roast
Don,
Are we still a go, any issues with the fire or roads being closed? The news said that the fire didn't spread today.

Re: Pig Roast
The pig roast is on. The guys are going to start g at 2:00 am so the timing should good for tomorrow around 1:00. It looks like we got everything covered so should turn out great. There aren't any real traffic issues other than the construction on the I. They are letting people back into some parts of the burn area and that has caused some delays but by tomorrow should be back to normal. Don
