black forest fire
If any members or friends in the black forest area that need a place to stay or live stock to stay. Let me know I live in Yoder just south east of black forest. Alex

Re: black forest fire
Mighty kind of you Lav. I got a sick feeling in my stomach last night when I heard about this and wound up awake until 5am following the progress of the fire. Seems far too soon after last year. I am reminded of the numerous offers for assistance I received from members of the board here as we had to evacuate. Luckily for us we still had a some to come back to. And for me, a Bronco to bring home (Thanks a million for that JD. I still owe you a keg, or a couple of them, for that assist.)
I hope that if any of you are available to lend a hand, not just to members of this group but to any/all of those affected by this catastrophic event, you take the opportunity to do so. Even the most miniscule of things in your own mind can mean the world to someone on the receiving end. And the feeling of knowing that you did something, anything, will be worth more than you could ever possibly imagine.

Re: black forest fire
I am trying to follow it as best I can. I am just in awe how soon it's happening again and weren't there some good snow storms late in the winter? So frustrating!
Zach - you owe me nothing. Pay it forward my friend, as I know you already do.
Looks like they are expecting a bad day today??

Re: black forest fire
Issues with fuel at the moment. FFs have pushed so far in to BF that there are no stations or fuel points close by.

Re: black forest fire
That makes sense Justin. Horrible. I heard that they were getting containment over the weekend, but I was MIA, so I need to dig in again and see progress!
