NoCo Engine Builders
As with most projects my '68 had it's own plan in mind. Instead of lockers, axles and new gears over the winter I get to replace the engine. Not sure what happened other than the bearings ended up in the oil. Have pretty much decided to replace the 302 with a 351W and looking for recommendations on engines builders in Northern Colorado that understand builds for trail rigs/daily driver 4x4s. Would like to have it built rather than buy a complete unit and then have to swap out parts to get the torque/HP where it's needed.
Thanks!

Call Scott at MPG Heads 303-762-8196
He is in Englewood so not exactly in NoCO but in my opinion well worth it (you are talking about spending $2k or more here)

Have you thought about doing it yourself? There's two of us up here that are doing it.

Re: NoCo Engine Builders
The thought briefly crossed my mind. Just don't have the time and a warranty is nice to have (wife saw the guys on Fast N' Load wipe two new motors). Haven't built an engine (car or truck anyway) in over 20 years so I figured I'd let the experts do it. I'll do the removal/installation though.

Re: NoCo Engine Builders
call Phil at BG Automotive in Ft. Fun. Really good buddy of mine and has had a couple engines rebuilt up there. Has a lot of good off-road knowledge as well. Has helped build a couple of KOH trucks and a Baja 1000 truck as well.
